I remember William Shatner describing his workout regiment being like this. It was in the mid-90s on Conan O’Brien’s old show. He said you grab a heavy weight, as heavy as you can, you put the muscle in the flexed position and hold it for like a minute or something. You just do this once a week and it builds strength…
