Google the stats, it already takes longer for cop cars to get to the poorer communities (which tend to have minorities) so if this really is a problem, it's only for the affluent.

I wanted to say the exact same thing. Granted I don’t know what the Indians had to go through— but MLK wanted to be treated equally by the government. He wanted to not be treated like a “less than” citizen.

I’m a guy who grew up in LA during the Rodney king riots (and unfortunately all the “Lakers won” riots) I saw my mom’s buses burned, I saw my aunts neighborhood shops burned down... it’s not the end of the world. The worst part is the families who own those shops and are left with nothing.

Sure it could be, if the rioters went to the bus depot and destroyed hundreds of them. Breaking a few that were in the vicinity isn’t going to ruin anyone’s life.

I’m sorry my tax dollars go towards oppressive legislation, I’m sorry it doesn’t go towards better education.
