"is said to be hanging out of someone else."
"is said to be hanging out of someone else."
I got flamed pretty hard here during the coverage of the memorial service for talking about how the Duggars were using that miscarriage to push their pro-life agenda and their show, but I stand by it. This is not private grief, but public exploitation.
Congratulations!!! Well deserved. Now if only there was a COTD for best response to #COTD. We could keep this going forever!!!
"Rosy" =/= "nuanced"
My BF called me and read the wikipedia entry on St. Valentine's Day. He was all geeked out about it.
I thought the same thing, except I'm imagining that the $400 is one way. Haters should stop—she could be flying in a private plane /.
I honestly didn't think that last was a real name. The last one really cracked me up—I guess no one gets beat up in British school yards.
Well said, MoGlo. I was astonished that Andy Carvin got grief for continuing to post about massacres in Syria "Because we're grieving for Whitney." Guess what? I managed to grieve for Whitney, be concerned for Bobbi, worry about my aging parents and worry about what will happen in Syria—all at the same time.
I usually don't care if someone thanks God for their success, but with Chris Brown it came across as "I beat up a woman and won a Grammy because God loves me!"
I totally agree. But I just someone on Gawker call people who thought it was inappropriate "nutbags," so what do I know?
"Maybe I should just shut the hell up until I see what you all are talking about, that might be a thought."
It's been quite the week for the Grammys. Not only is Chris Brown back, but it turns out that the Grammys itself was the real victim of his attack. Nice piece about it here: [hellogiggles.com]
She was indeed and raised in the Gospel tradition. But the audience is not.
I can respect that and if I was at her funeral service, I would expect to participate in her religious tradition. But this is a televised event with an international audience. That's why we have moments of silence.
People were talking about it downthread. I just caught a glimpse of the redness—and the hair. Gracious.
I'm not a visual person, but was the camera work on the Bruce Springsteen number a bit weird? Empty mike, partial faces, empty mike.
