Yes, and I haven't been committed because they haven't been able to figure out what's wrong with me.

I'm glad you liked the list! Thanks!

So we'll all be getting an excellent tablet at sweet, low prices? Fuckin' awesome, man.

Betty White, probably.

I might get shot for this, but I still like Rapunzel more.

Someone mentioned Brad Bird, who would be perfect for the ensemble romp that VII should be. Cuaron would do the dark-and-hopeless VIII, and then Blomkamp for IX.

JJ has Star Trek! He will stay the hell away from Star Wars.

I wish that movie had been allowed to be its own property. It was a pretty good movie in its own right — just not at all an adaptation of Constantine.

I take offense to this. Rapunzel is SO worth the trouble. She's the best Disney Princess.

I'm not really a fan of Verbinski, but Brad Bird would be excellent!

I love how people have been asking pretty much EVERY director if they're directing Star Wars VII.

They should emulate Apple and just say "you're folding it wrong."

No.

I agree that it's disrespectful when commenters act like they know the industry better, throwing out casting alternatives. But it's way more disrespectful of Hollywood to continue holding up this "but-not-too-black" mentality.

These actions don't exist in a vacuum. Hollywood has been pushing out black actresses in favor of "but-not-too-black" women, like Halle Berry and Zoe Saldana herself. It's institutionalized.

To the people comparing this to a nip slip or a cameltoe shot: no, it is not the same. Men are never ever ridiculed for their boners. We don't live in an equal society, and things like this are precisely the way to point that out.

Do y'all just spend the day searching for weird penis news? There is an abundance of penis articles on io9.

Is that Asiz Ansari at the end?

Jesus Christ, that False Positive comic was more than just spooky. I didn't recover from that for like, an hour.

There's also the theory that the whole movie is an odd allusion to Wizard of Oz. Mel Gibson is the Tin Man, Joaquin Pheonix is the Lion, and ... someone else is the Scarecrow. I forget who.
