HAHAHAHA!
HAHAHAHA!
I say jif sometimes too, I'm ashamed but I've done it.
Yeah, just gone with no word as to why. Maybe a licensing issue or something.
That's true, and I own Duke Nukem 3D, Doom, Doom 2 and the TMNT Arcade game on my Xbox. I would purchase other games I love to but plenty don't exist yet.
Well this is done, but you're wrong because always on is a disaster and everyone knows it, only oversized corporations who haven't yet been burned horribly by it don't. Yet.
Someone said it is, yeah. Sadly I don't have the SNES games anymore, I've tried to find them to no avail. Still going to play SNES roms though, fuck it.
I don't have hard copies unfortunately, they're long gone except for some Game Boy and NES games.
Sounds like 1984.
Good example, Donkey Kong Country and it's sequels were on the Nintendo Shop for Wii. Then suddenly, they were yanked and now new owners can't get the games, so it basically drives people to ROMs.
I don't care if other people care, you do. You're not listening, they didn't say it doesn't need to be always on, it's up to the game makers. So it CAN be always on.
I don't personally care from an ethics standpoint, companies stopped producing their games, so fuck 'em.
The fact that using emulators and ROMs is illegal baffles me, especially when the games are impossible to find and are no longer made. I've used emulators a lot and had no idea it was considered piracy, which it technically is but it's just weird.
It's not just going to be once a day, they kept changing it and even said "it depends on the game", a developer could make it an always on requirement if they want.
People think the controller looks good, but it looks awful to me, like a MadCatz clone of a controller. The giant Xbox bar thing at the top seems really out of place too.
I have Comcast, not DSL, and it's faster than that. Keep pretending it's an issue almost no one faces though.
Uh, no. They changed what they said a bunch of times, claiming the always on requirement is necessary every 24 hours even for single player only, then claiming "it depends" and basically being full of shit.
How does that Microsoft brand dildo feel in your ass?
Good for you, but in the U.S. there are tons of places with weak internet connections, or places that can't even get anything better than DSL.
Considering it can be hacked into fairly easily or co-opted by the government and these things happen all the time, you're a dunce.
Mandatory Kinect usage is also a little disturbing. The camera is listening out for you even when it's "off" (it's never really off), and while Microsoft has issued a statement saying it has "strong privacy protections" in place, people are still rightly concerned that a machine -connected to the internet and…
