I recently starting playing this again on an emulator for the first time since I was a kid, it's such an amazing game.

Can someone who understands the studies better, explain why there are studies that say "Yes, violent games can increase violent impulses" and "No, they do not" beyond the fact that science has competing viewpoints and it's the way progress is made?
