Except they’re not. You’re just using the US price, in Canada they want $93 instead of the “standard” console game price of $89.99. At least that’s what Square Enix wants for Forspoken on Steam, they’re hiding the price of FF7R on the Epic Store with a “Coming Soon” price tag on it. They’re not even justifying why it

I’m more bothered by being told to either pay full price or wait for a discount on a game I’ve been waiting to come to PC for almost 2 years already. Day One drops being $70 instead of $60 would be easier to stomach if exclusivity wasn’t constantly being used as an excuse to charge full price again.

But shows can evolve over time...” Shout out to the first two seasons of Star Trek: TNG.

I’m ridiculously excited for this.

If anyone can show people just how pointless and grifty NFT’s are, it will be the perennial disappointment, Peter Molyneux. His involvement alone should make a few potential cryptobros turn away from the whole thing.

So much of this first season was Vicious/Julia, and everything with them was just painfully bad. I haven’t been able to make myself watch the last two episodes because I know they’ll be full of those two. Overall though, the primary 3 actors have a good chemistry together and there were some bits I enjoyed despite the

To be fair, very few shows accomplish that. I’m re-watching Star Trek: TNG right now on Netflix. The show is widely regarded as being excellent, groundbreaking, etc. and ran for seven seasons, but the first season was hot garbage. It wasn’t until a few episodes into Season 2 that the actors seemed to start having a

Yah, I am getting pretty sick of Netflix’s business model of being too harsh with handling their production and cutting their losses when more time is clearly needed to find successes.

Literally not how most television works.

Yeah, so many of what are considered classic shows of the 80s and 90s would never had stood a chance today since a lot of them didn’t hit their strides until a few seasons in.

MST was such a different animal. That first Netflix season was completely self-funded, unlike the Netflix-produced Bebop. If Bebop live action was a Kickstarter project it *might* have gotten a second season.

I enjoyed it well enough, still have a couple episodes to finish.  Loved the anime and I think the live action did a pretty decent job, though John Cho who I like as an actor was WAY to old to play Spike.

Yeah, I enjoyed it taking the same framework and telling, essentially, a whole new story with it. And how much you liked it mostly resided in how much you were onboard with them doing things differently.

I’ll wait one more year for the Steam release.

Can’t wait to buy it on Steam.

Epic Game Store. 99% of hate is Epic Game Store. 100% of deserved hate is Epic Game Store.

You don’t get to have it both ways though; if you want to have more control over your employer’s behaviors you need to go through the formal process of establishing a legally recognized union.

Cops didn’t kill anyone. The driver of the stolen car tried to avoid spike strips and crashed into someone.

Why would I nuke the town?

So if the cops never pursued the car, and the suspect went on to rob more people at gunpoint, and possibly shot and killed one or more people in the process, I’m assuming you would agree that “it is unfortunate that those people had to die, but at least there was no police chase!” Right?

I feel like this article doesn’t reflect the full picture.

The Biden administration fought in court in order to NOT to have to do this and lost.
