I mean, he ain’t wrong about you being a jerk, dude. Calling people that don’t want to adopt super expensive hardware for one game they’re interested in doesn’t make people “ridiculous, entitled Luddites. That just makes you sound like an out of touch jerk. I can’t speak to what he’s done on other comment sections

Counter-counterpoint: Only 0.4% of Steam users own a VR headset.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

That sounds like a horrible viewing experience. Oh hey, 20 mins in, you fucked up, have fun re-watching the movie to get back to where you were.

Gotta throw my voice in here. You sound salty as hell that what you like didn’t get awards over shows you don’t like. You’re not some universal authority on deciding what’s outstanding.

You could have saved a lot of time by just tweeting outI didn’t like Bandersnatch...” and maybe add a sadface to really hammer it home. Then maybe follow it up with a devastating “Emmys are MEH”.  But be careful you wouldn’t want to be a “victim of its own cleverness”.

Agreed

A lot of people love Mrs. Maisel, including several millenials I know. It’s really grating when you treat your opinion as fact, Gita, especially when you are shitting on something. Calling it a “misstep” is far more condescending than saying something like, “that confused” or “bothered me”, or “I disagreed with

It kind of feels like you’re confusing “Best stuff” with “the stuff I like best.”

April 13, 2020

Between this and the optimizations that have to happen, I’m actually quite glad they decided to beta test the game with a large group of people before releasing it on April 13, 2020.

Let me speak to two things here. First, this is not theft, it’s copyright infringement. Second, until half a century ago copyright only lasted for 30 years. Meaning that if it wasn’t for Disney, we would all have copies of Super Mario Bros on our computers because that game would now be in the public domain! What

On one hand, I appreciate that. Content creators should be compensated when possible. The various “classic” consoles prove we’ll happily open our wallets when a convenient, well-executed means is available. Even when we choose to pirate, the various RetroPie rigs prove we have no issue spending money to have our

I think my favorite part about this post is its admission that it doesn’t even take the time to read the VERY short article in-order to ensure a “First!”, and interject a comment about as deep.

Dude dating the doctor: I’ve been through the same thing. Someone working an extended hours job, traveling for work, etc. If they want to keep in touch, they will. It does not take much time to send a text, and I guarantee you she’s talking to other people during that period... which means you’re not at the forefront

If it were about convenience, I’d agree. But the reason I’m against the EGS is less about how it directly impacts me and more about how their business practices will shape the future of the industry.

Stop perpetuating this myth.

Attacking the devs I don’t agree with, obviously but microtransactions and excusing them?

The clockwork furor over microtransactions ignores the reality of video games in 2019, an industry that is insanely profitable but equally unsustainable, addicted to the long-tail revenue streams that microtransactions provide. Are they a net good? No. But cars still run on gasoline, even as they kill the planet.

Very much disagree.
