I’m glad I’m seeing so many stories like this. The series brought a lot of people together and these memories seem to be shared by many. I hope the negative reception at least makes them reconsider their priorities a bit.

Yeah, I hate how often I feel like I grew out of the medium these days. I hate being cynical because this is a hobby I cherish, but these companies can’t even pretend to care (honestly) anymore.

Some people aren’t meant to lead, unfortunately. There’s no shame in that, play your strengths, but don’t do something to the detriment of everything else. He may have been a figurehead, but that shouldn’t have meant him transitioning to studio leadership.

The sad truth, for sure. These people defined the genre not too long ago, and instead they’re now succumbing to what is making it all feel stale and obviously commercial.

One might be able to even argue a MGSV situation, all things considered.

No, you’re absolutely right. There hasn’t been a game in the series that I haven’y run co-op with my childhood friend since Halo 2. It’s the best memories I have of the game and to this day, make it a thing to play the old games whenever we’re able to together. It’s tradition, you know? We can’t do it in person these

At the very least, it sure as hell seems like he tore out her eye and had her get a cybernetic one as a punishment for losing a spar to Gamora

Yes? Was there a point I had implied otherwise? The reason why Epic specifically gets the criticism in this example is because out of all those companies (other social issue PR aside), they don’t have their CEO constantly mouthing off about how he’s the industry’s Robin Hood or creating propaganda to indoctrinate his

Sweeney and Epic are hypocrites. They recognized themselves as such according to the documents that came out during that case. They don’t care about anything or anyone besides themselves and the fact that they deluded enough people to think otherwise is a shame. That’s marketing and PR I guess...

I wonder what tomorrow’s going to bring regarding this game and whatever it is the audience is mad about then.

On mobile it’s an absolute fucking disaster. I distinctly remember a couple days ago having the top ad overtake 60 % of my screen and not being able to close it out. All while I scroll past 4 other ads for the same thing in the body of whatever it was I was reading.

Updated textures and higher resolutions might be nice, but I’m not about to buy these games for a third time each. With the fan fixes, the originals work well enough. Now if they can finally fix Bully from it’s constant crash issues, then maybe we can talk money.

That’s the big thing. I’m 33, and pretty well off financially and about the only thing I can muster up in terms of games as a service is Fighting Game characters as they feel a bit more consequential than anything the Free To Play style games are doing. But I’m still not happy about the price in comparison to what I

I’m all for older women but she was a bit too old for me, friend. She did have that raspy Illinois voice though and I didn’t hate it.

The first thing I did when I won my Xbox One Fortnite bundle was uninstall the game, but the story with the nurses reminded me about a coworker of mine who saw me win the prize during the Christmas raffle and immediately started talking to me about Fortnite and how excited I must of been about it. She told me how much

And that one took 16 if I remember correctly.

The Japanese (particularly Japanese Business) is crazy stubborn and unfortunately that isn’t going to change anytime soon.

...but to be honest the open-world aspect was the weakest.

This. I guess I was spoiled playing on pc, but with an i5/980 that thing was still very impressive visually and I can only recall a few issues, only one of which was an actual crash in the 100+ hours I played. I still had an amazing time with the game.

Did they ever fix the issues that arose when they updated Borderlands 2 on PC around the release of 3? Suddenly I was unable to play with my friend who was (is) a Mac based player.
