I think he meant that sarcastically, as in the people who should benefit won’t because this price hike can be touted as helping devs and giving the customer a better product, where in reality the publisher gets richer.

And that is what I’m not going to support EGS. Which is a shame, because I would like to get this game. I’ll be waiting for the Steam release, if I don’t ultimately lose interest by then. This third party exclusivity nonsense needs to go.
