Games taught me to always finish what I started. Its helps me at work, it helps me in my music hobby and of course, it helps me finish games I buy instead of jumping midway into something else.

Way too many unknown variables to really know but two things are certain, the J-31:

1) Is lighter than the F-35 VTOL (because of the lift fan weight)
2) Has more engine power because it's powered by two (fixed) engines.

Which for sure make it faster than the F-35 one-on-one without AWAC support.

Unsure, the only failed tests I am aware of are F-22 and F-35 messups. But yes, China did try to pass "Top Gun" footage as real but it had nothing to do with the J-31.

They are having more fun copying (and suprisingly improving on) the F-35 with their J-31.
