It caught my attention back then because it was from Wayforward. They don't usually make bad games, always worth investigating their stuff.
You're better off with Wayforward's GBA's "Godzilla Domination":

So awesome, the original games remain amazingly playable nowadays. Yet, this still has to beat the allmighty "NHL Hitz" franchise from the pure arcade fun side of things.
