This isn't really a far cry from the comics to be honest. Sure there are a couple big zombie moments in every "chapter". But most of the comic is situational conflict, as you put it. It's been a while since I read them, I should go back and do that, but I think more people in the comics are killed by other people, as

@aLynHall: I'd consider that group of characters as "Walking Dead" as they are as good as dead. Maybe you should ask for more zombies, but if that's the case, go watch resident evil...

"Them wasting money on ways to make ads more intrusive"

@her0_0f_time: I'm hoping there is a way to keep backups of saves on their cloud service while keeping my gamertag on a usb. That way when I'm done with a game I can hoard my saves and not worry about filling up my "mu" or hdd.

@Erik the Red: I think they robbed her of a lot of her "development" that happens during that last scene. They left out quite a few key pieces of dialogue and exchanges that really show that she's not just the little girl she has been most the first book(season). Especially the part when she asks Jorah why he calls

A spoiler would be listing the next major character to die. Mentioning that they left out the comet which plays a big role in the next book isn't. Now, if I said the role it plays and the truth of it, then, your reply would be relevant. However I didn't, so it's not.

In my copy of the first book it's on page 804, right after Dany has the maegi tied to the pyre. She reflects on how the Khals become stars or whatever and then Jhogo points out the first star in the sky, a red comet.

Remember when they added in those ads that were videos and would play on the dashboard? Remember how terrible they were going to be and how Xbox LIVE would be shit because of them? Strange, as I haven't heard a peep from people since. Nor are they an issue, as I don't fucking select/hover over them.

@Captain_Tripps: I don't remember which book it was, or which character (I want to say Arya) but isn't someone actually told who Jon's mother is, but has to promise not to tell or some such? Mind you that could just be another attempt to throw us off.

@Machinetd: I can't see them venturing too far off from the books. In fact, everything they have done has been in the books, slight differences for the sake of time. What makes the books even better is that GRRM spends such a long time building it one way you don't even see the suckerpunch coming. Then as you try to

@Static Jak: The pacing of the first episode encouraged me to buy the books. I felt the show was a bit slow but was way intrigued by the books. Needless to say I read the first four in a little under 2 weeks, that's how fast a read they were. Mind you I've still watched every episode of the show just to see how they

Um...where was the comet? It's a pretty big part of the books, to be completely left out seems a little...strange

The main Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo conferences are never the highlights of my E3, I prefer the stuff that trickles throughout the week (Microsoft is especially good at this). The new dashboard/home screen is promising, cloud storage for game saves and profiles? Great way to back-up methinks. Still waiting for Alan

Always sad when someone messes up like this causing a big SNAFU that costs them their job. Because, someone definitely lost their job over this.

@sans_fi: I can't tell if you actually watched the episode from your comment, so avoid my post if you haven't. Continuing with the spoilers.

@ViperVin: Nah, they are probably loving it. Draw in tons of people with Sean Bean, then when you kill him you leave people going "Oh shit, this show just did that?" Easy street cred I guess.

@roguedandelion: Haha right? I didn't realize it until he specifically mentioned his son in the third book. It was then that I went, oh shit, the same last name! The book has so many characters that it's sometimes hard to keep them all straight (and remember first and last names.) Jorah is generally referred to as,

@Inphoarius: Seems like the show is going to end right about where the first book ends, for some storylines at least. Figuring that there are 3 more episodes and then taking account the things that they haven't touched on in the book. I'd guess that the first season will end on the same cliffhanger of the first book,

@TwiceDead: @Ursus-Veritas: No different that the BBC often making their videos unviewable outside the UK. And isn't the reason Starz is doing Torchwood because the BBC didn't wanna shell out all the costs for it? ;-)

@ditikos: I'd still say Chuck is an intersect. Earlier in the season Volkoff used a "suppressor" on him and then had what, 2 eps learning how to unblock the intersect? The fact that they made sure to point out that it was a "suppressor" being used on him in the finale means they can easily undo it if they need to.
