Surprised the vampires from Sleeping Dogs didn't make it on here.

Hard to argue with this.

And people say Japanese gaming is dying.

Clearly he's not that great anymore. Both Epic Mickey games were pretty disappointing.

Specter will explain how this is somehow similar to Deus Ex. Mark my words.

Yeah I agree.

I don't like any of Abrams' movies, and if the new Star Trek is any indication, he's a terrible choice. I don't need Lucas or industry professionals to tell me what to think. I've seen Abrams' movies, and I'm not a fan.

They made Okami when they were still part of Capcom. They can do Zelda style games just fine.

Platinum is published by SEGA and Nintendo. They need funding just as much as Vigil needed THQ. They're not looking to buy a studio of people and pay their salaries.

It's just the truth. Platinum is published by SEGA and Nintendo. They need funding just as much as Vigil needed THQ.

They're not looking to buy Vigil, just the IP.

Don't forget Clover made Okami. They've already done a Zelda-esque game.

Everyone knows it obviously. Vigil is pretty good, but Platinum are pretty much the leading action game devs. Only ones that even compete are Rocksteady and they really have only made one game and one combat system so far.

I'd totally play a Platinum developed Darksiders. But to be perfectly honest, if they want to make something on par with Zelda in scope and complexity, I'd rather they just make a new IP. The last time they tried this they came up with Okami.

sure.

Emotionally engaging.

haha, that's awesome. Glad she could help :)

Dragon's Dogma shines because of the fantastic gameplay, not the story.

I honestly can't believe he wrote this article.

Now playing

The mask totally blurs the line between video game and real war even more than it is already blurred. Check out the links I compiled here to see what I mean.
