I'm sorry, I just built a mid range pc and it was almost $700. I don't know what kind of PC you could build with $500 that would compete with the PS4. Mine certainly does, but it was almost $300 more than what the ps4 will cost me.

Weren't those tests for the ps4 using a 7870? Anyway, that's why I said 7870-7950, which means in between these two cards. Though, it'll be closer the 7870.
Ah, sorry! I thought you were saying that the ps4 is coming with the equivalent of the 780. Reading: fail.
Actually, it's already been mentioned by many sites that the PS4 will have the equivalent of a Radeon HD 7870-7950. Not even close to a GTX 780. It's unfortunate, but consoles are pretty behind this gen.

I'm actually enjoying Blood Lad a lot more than Gatchaman right now. It seems like Gatchaman is trying to set up something big, and has been taking its time, while Blood Lad has been fun every episode. Did you check it out, at least?
