Can’t be worse than this:

I guess you missed this:

This kind of mindset is dumb and amounts to “Just ignore the flaws and everything is good”. It doesn’t matter if the story goes nowhere and now will never go anywhere, it doesn’t matter if the semi-automated animation system was garbage that they knowingly released, and it doesn’t matter the game is buggy enough to

I really hate this narrative. Mass Effect is my favorite series, and suddenly I’m not welcome in the community because I hated Andromeda. The truth is I was just as excited for the game as anyone else, and I was incredibly let down. And now, on top of feeling that disappointment, my feelings are also being invalidated

I will never understand this mindset. “Man, if only gamers had tolerated a product that didn’t meet their expectations we cold have gotten DLC.” While every criticism sure as hell isn’t valued, stop pretending that consumer desiring decent products is somehow indecent. “it was still 100% playable” Wow. Hot-damn. What

I did my research and as far as I can tell, German police are trained to shoot center mass just like American police. The memetic image of a German officer shooting some guy in the leg and non-fatally disabling him while a real incident is NOT standard German practice. We don’t even know if the German officer intended

Something to keep in mind for those of you not working in creative fields:

Imagine, for a moment, that the iconic element of the product you spent months—perhaps years—of your life on were brought to market without your ever having been involved.

Could that product still have been completed?

Yes.

Would it still be

I get a bit tired of the “This it the game we should have had all along,” as if Bungie had Destiny perfectly figured out but then decided to intentionally launch it with flaws.

get off you’re fucking high horse!

They’ve changed Crucible to 4v4 for all modes.

As someone who doesn’t read up on that type of shit, my impressions were this: Wow, it’s a Mass Effect game. Too many sidequests that are fetch quests, but otherwise it’s a Mass Effect game and I don’t see what the problem with that is.

Mass Effect doesn’t tell its story through databases.

Seems pretty different to me. The cards are on a thing separate to the game, for example, whereas MEA emails are often tied to missions / trigger missions / influence missions / affect your understanding of the missions. You get email expanding on conversations, which...is something I actually experience in real life.
