Yup! And of course he couldn't let it go, because gosh darn it, he was RIGHT!!

I like a lot of Aaron Sorkin's work, but I think it's pretty clear from watching any of his shows or movies that he's kind of a self-righteous egomaniac. How many of his projects have been dominated by characters that are misunderstood-genius-types whose brilliance is stifled by the rubes and hacks of the world?

I graduated from law school a few months before I turned 26, but I hate being a lawyer so I'm back in school for something else now. I should finish right before I turn 30. I don't really feel like there's any special time table for finishing things. In my law program there were people just out of college, people

Thanks! It's hard not to test once I feel pregnant, because I want to prove it's not just in my head. But I guess by now I have enough proof. I still feel pretty optimistic, generally, it's just frustrating!

Good to hear! Yeah, I'll just hope for the best, nothing I can do either way.

I love that show! I actually think it provided legitimate therapeutic value for me dealing with my Dad's death. And David's one of my favorite characters on any series ever.

I had a miscarriage back in December and a chemical pregnancy last month. Basically, last month I took a bunch of tests over the course of a few days. They started out positive, but then the positive line grew fainter and fainter with each test, until finally the tests were negative. Then my period came a few days

Married, but yeah for less than a year, so, I get it.

That makes sense. In my mind I just assumed that many couples would have sex every day unless told otherwise, so having sex during ovulation would already be a given no matter what, and this rule would just shorten the window of fertility. I forgot about the whole, yeah, a lot of people probably don't have sex every

Right, I just meant that since sperm survives several days and increases the window of time during which you can get pregnant, if you wait until day 12 to start having sex - rather than also having sex days 9, 10, and 11 - it seems like a good way to make sure that you get pregnant more often than not, but maybe not

I realize that it promotes fertility by ensuring that women are having sex right around the time of ovulation, but it seems to promote it in a reasonable way, rather than in a pregnant constantly way. Women's odds of conceiving are good if they have sex right before and during ovulation, but the odds would be even

I know this practice may seem strange, but I always assumed that the whole point of was to ensure that women weren't constantly pregnant in the days before birth control. If every month you have sex the day before ovulation you'll probably have a ten percent chance of getting pregnant or so each cycle - but if you

They look way too much like Prince Philip for that to be true.

Eh, I think poopoo and doodoo and the like are children's words. Poop is just slang.

This Louis CK quote was about gay marriage, but I think it applies to many situations:

I think my husband and I are kind of like Rob and Laura Petrie from the Dick Van Dyke Show.

Vigilante killing is not conducive to an ethical and fair justice system.

I don't believe Stand Your Ground is about protecting property. My understanding is that under such a law you are allowed to use whatever means available to protect yourself when you feel threatened, even if you have the opportunity to retreat. This contrasts with a lot of jurisdictions where you do not have the

I see a post somewhere that just says "bobby," but I think that must be about True Blood. Everything else seems to be in replies.

I graduated from law school a few years ago. Most women I know/knew wear skirt suits to interviews or to court, but trousers with a blouse for day-to-day at the office. Wearing a skirt every day seems almost too dressy for the typical business casual dress code.
