People put bigger turbos, down pipes from the turbo and better flowing exhausts on these things all the time. This engine comes from the factory in a wide range of power outputs and people are able to tune the lower level cars quite easily using new parts or take offs from higher output cars. It’s also very tunable

Oh, there’s a reason. ;)

Too bad they didn’t cover this here. I’m sure the part where in CBC’s letter they said “three-fifths of the cuts” proposed would hurt them is some pretty damn fine shade.

All right all you Bernie or bust people who thought Hillary was owned by GS. Ha, Ha, jokes on you. And all the rest of us who were dragged along this ride in spite of being able to pull our heads out of our rears and see she might not have been the ideal candidate for lots of people, she was the best candidate we had.

That’s always confused me too. I think a few cars needed it back in the day but usually it’s regular or premium now. With the modern controls, even turbo engines can run on 87 octane, but often they will run pig rich to avoid detonation and you don’t save any money doing it, but why do 89?

That was about the time I was in high school. (Graduated in 88). I had a 1976 Honda Civic CVCC that still used leaded gas and got good mileage. This was the tail end of regular being available everywhere and it was right around 60 cents a gallon. My friends and I could literally scrape together pocket change and have

This is exactly what I think about when I wish congress would be more bypartisan. I think getting rid of gerrymandering would go a long way to helping as the way things are, there are lots of districts where being the most extreme on either side is the best and probably only way to win the primary and then the

Exactly. Autopilot on an aircraft will happily fly you right into a mountain if you set it that way and sit back.

Except no one was really working on reusing rockets, just like no one really had done a clean sheet design on an electric car. People have been trying tunneling.

And the rock.

Not even considering permitting stuff, people have been digging tunnels for a long time and it has never been quick and easy. I like Musk, but designing a TBM is not like being the first to really tackle an electric car from the ground up.

These surveys are ridiculous. They short circuit getting any real, useful feedback with the way the manufacturers set the rewards. Years back, maybe 1998-99 I had a truck that gave me several problems and the dealer was always a PITA to deal with. Nothing major, but always blaming me or not getting something fixed

Some states have laws stating that firearms cannot be carried at protests. Don’t know about Virginia, but wouldn’t be shocked if it weren’t legal.

Stop injecting rule of law and logic into this!

This is pretty much the crux of it. Dealer screwed up, then screwed up some more and decided hey, let’s toss some more screw ups in top of it. I’m sure at some point the Subaru Rep cut them off and they tried to get it out of the owner.

Regardless of the warranty voiding issue, if a dealer or other shop does work on my car without my permission then it’s free to me. If they refuse to let me have the car, then they will be getting a visit from the police when I call them from the service lounge to report a car theft.

Or you could simply leave the feature turned off and still connect to Bluetooth!

That’s not what I got out of this at all. They said they wanted to bring safety improvements to those WITHOUT CarPlay also, so now, there will be a setting, which the user can decide to turn on or off, which will use the Bluetooth status and GPS to lock your phone down and do the auto respond, _if_ you want to.

I’m sure the ATC system could be more efficient. The FAA has been working on satellite based tracking for a long time and screwed it up 10 ways to Sunday.

That would be an OK idea. Unfortunately I’m sure that 95% of people who take out these long loans aren’t doing that.
