So, I’m 46 so was 10 when Reagan came into power. As a kid hearing my parents and their friends talk about the Reagan Carter election as a lesser of two evils scenario, but don’t remember really what it was like.

If you think buying or leasing cars makes a hill of beans as to why Leno has money, I don’t know what to tell you.
And on my stock portfolio, having money to buy stocks which appreciate much faster than the ultra low cost of financing these days means I make money by not tieing up a ton of cash. Now, this may change as interest rates go up in the future. It’s all about being educated about the specifics of the situation.
And here in the US since most people will be in the passing lane until hell freezes over, no need!
I’ve seen some people on VW forums say they were told by their dealer contact not to strip the car down. Now, who knows if they would do anything about it if someone did. It may just be a hollow warning.
Being stuck on a breakdown is far different than choosing to be there to sell a story. Plus, when you break down, you also need to asses the situation and often the best choice is to get away from the car and road.
True enough. On the other hand, those guys were set up feet from the road. They were at risk of being hit by any random car that happened to spin out. Certainly, they can all be idiots.
Eh, if you ask me, the news douches that set up right on the side of the road like that or drive around all day while saying STAY OFF THE ROADS deserve it. Go park your truck, camera and lights in a parking lot or somewhere Elise safe and not distracting to drivers trying to get to work or whatever.
Most big real estate guys don’t want to work with Trump on real estate deals either so no huge surprise there.
So, what’s the reasoning for the undersized brakes?
Coincidentally I tried locking my Golf last night using the buttons and it wouldn’t work. Now, the car was sitting off in the driveway so maybe it works differently if it’s been running.
Bet it sold for a heck of a markup. Funny how dealers keep these old cars around. The place I bought my Sportwagen from has a 1960s era 15 (I think that’s the right number) window VW bus in the showroom with like 50 miles on it and at least 4 other buses and 2-3 old Beetles, one made into a drag car. Guess if you have…
I just bought a Golf Sportwagen. Extra room for kid stuff but still sporty. I’m a Home inspector and I can get a folding ladder and all my test tools back there with plenty of room for my fur kids to run around (no human kids). Back seats are quite roomy for such a small car.
Checked the pledge of allegiance lately? Did they screw that up and forget to fix it all these years?
I totally get it, but we don’t live in a democracy.
I agree, Hillary was a shitty candidate for sure.
So, the people that came up with this system of government we have which most agree is a pretty damn good one overall were full of shit on this one thing? Okay.
Literally the whole reason we have a republic and not a democracy is because the founding fathers (rightfully) did not trust the masses to make correct decisions.
I’ll say, I voted for Hillary. Reluctantly, as someone who thinks she and Bill are somewhat shady, but I did. However, considering the founding fathers quotes about how the electoral college was partly put in as a backstop against someone who was wholly unqualified being elected for whatever reason, I see no issue…
