But that was all the LAMEstream media!

All those things are true, but if the Nikola deal really is a lease with fuel included, it eliminates most of them from consideration of the owner. I know fleet people like to have a nice predictable cost structure, so maybe it will appeal to the large operators more than small ones.

I’m sure diesel isn’t going away tomorrow, but if you’re a company with lots of trucks or even an owner operator with one, a major source of running costs is fuel. Trucks wear out and have to be bought anyway. If the next time they need a truck, this one is cheaper overall than running a diesel, people will switch.

It was a bust on idiot 9-11 conspiracy people.

I’m thinking just the few inches of difference and the fact that the tires all around the rim catch fire and have a good amount of consumable fuel is why. I wouldn’t be shocked if there were localized areas of asphalt damage around each wheel.

So, you’re saying either trees burn hotter than jet fuel or you don’t have to completely melt steel down before it loses strength. Which one of those seems more likely? ;)

Wow, Thats legit money at a time they can surely need it. Too many Hollywood people ask everyone to give money for this and that but you rarely hear that they gave any significant amount.

Wow, that would have been a Dick filled company to work for I bet.

You’re right, that’s totally true.

That and all the foreign dignitaries he has already been pushing to stay there when in town.

Sheetrock mud comes in buckets that weigh 66 pounds and I’ve seen a delivery guy carry 4, two in each hand using the bail. Now, this guy was stacked, but carrying one 86 pound bucket with two hands couldn’t be that hard.

Yeah, you would think it would be a big red flag for the working class the number of times Trump has screwed people over, not paid and dared them to do something about it or restructured deals so he got money while everyone else got a cramdown.

I have Direct knowledge of a situation where a tech company with operations here in my area (RTP, NC) already had plans in the works for at least a year even spending some real money in preparations and signed a lease to move to a set of buildings down the road and expand from like 800 jobs to 3000 over a period of

He is a terrible businessman, but one thing I’ll give him though. He seems to have hit on a way to make that Pennsylvania Ave hotel deal that all the big chains said was too unprofitable to be a legitimate bid work after all!

Makes more sense now why Trump was harping on this specific plant closing. Pence in his day job is governor of Indiana and had to know that they were already working behind the scenes on doing some kind of incentives deal and had the authority to push it.

Remember when a car could break down and a decently mechanically inclined person could open the hood and have at least a small chance of spotting what was wrong it even fixing it? Not going to happen to any modern car.

Is that a real rumor? I saw it mentioned elsewhere and figured it was a joke.

I guess I should rephrase that to say if you’re going over the speed limit or above average traffic, have at it. The idiots I’m talking about slow down to half the limit and throw the flashers without changing lanes on like it’s suddenly OK to block traffic when they feel scared to drive, but 99% of the driving public

I saw the headline and though, hm, I know Honda makes concepts all the time, but 6 wheels is pretty crazy!

I’d be happy to do a fellowship at the hazard light research facility. Screw red turn signals and screw anyone who throws their hazard lights on because it’s raining a bit!
