Of course if you do that you’re a bad parent too because it’s not as safe.

Would anyone care if the whole door were aluminum? It's not like a huge totally flat piece of thin steel resists dents and dings as it is.
Not sure how minimal the impacts are since many stastions in the Raleigh-Durham area are out of gas now.
We have a friend with the same issue. She saw something showing how they dive down to work on the rudders and stuff and it freaked her right out. She also can’t deal with oil rigs. The very idea of them gives her chills.
This seems like a hilariously bad idea and fraught with danger. How are you even allowed to do this legally?
I'm assuming it's being pulled tight by another machine behind the camera.
I did forget about LA, but at any rate, they realized that it was hard enough to operate a helicopter in a city to land on a building on a good day and practically impossible in a fire, so most places stopped doing it. But it was a trend even without any requirements for a while in the 70s/80s.
What would possibly make you think that's the case?
Probably not, but I imagine once he decides he’s done it will feel different. Right now, he is still a race driver and he can’t race, so until he changes his mindset off that it will feel like he has no purpose.
If the guy wanted to help, he should have gone way further down on the straight and stood behind the fence. That way, the drivers might see him and slow down before they were on the big oil slick instead of right on it and he would have been safe(r). I wonder how much of the incident was just blind bad luck or you hit…
So, they finally found that pesky “rogue engineer”!
Craploads of BMWs have straight 6 and dual exhausts. It just splits after the Cat usually anyway.
Yeah that’s just a million to one shot. No way anyone could have planned and executed that.
Having a hard time understanding how he is suspended from a school and still potentially playing representing said school.
Von Braun at least designed the Saturn V.
I wonder if these are literally a bolt/plug in replacement? We have a 2012 Unlimited and I’ve never been super happy with the headlights. I didn’t want to go the aftermarket route, since depending if your annual inspector wants to be a jerk it could be an issue since they all say off road only. If I can get them for…
Yeah, all the initial photos and video were from too far away. I've seen a closer shot since then and it's obvious the rocket is gone and the strong back mangled. I'm sure the pad lower down is pretty much screwed also.
Some reports the rocket is still standing anyway, so either would be good. Also reports this happened at T-3:00 which could mean it was not the rocket at all, which would also be good. Though either way I'm sure they will want to check the satellite out. Will be a while to sort this all out.
I don't know for sure but there's a good chance it's all put together at this point. Only a couple days from launch.
No this is a brand new one. Maybe there’s something to this “flight proven” marketing after all.
