Yeah, everybody thinks they want exciting until they experience it.

My (realistic) dream car is an ES350 or Avalon with every option box checked. There is something to appreciate about a car that knows what it is and does that exceedingly well.

From an engineer’s point of view: Reliable, durable and efficient is the opposite of boring.

It hurts a little more when you remember Japanese quality came about— partially, and also due to the Japanese’ fastidious culture--from ideas proffered by an American, who couldn’t get anyone to listen in his home country:

They’re grown ass people that I’m sure have held other positions before they got hired for the Ellen show.
