The thing is, professionals use PC's. A REAL editor, a animator such as myself, professionals do NOT use laptops like these. We require much more power. These are for wanna be's. These are for the rich that think they're professional. Or perhaps the mid-class that wish to be.

That screen is what you paid for. A 2450x1440 display is always gorgeous. And cost around $600 if I where to buy it. It's running games that will make the gpu's apple uses work like crap. But then again, I never see many Maya uses, or huge game players work with an iMac. So it usually comes down to needs.

As a matter of fact, I can. use programs even higher than that, I use maya. The ASUS transforming notebook as a keyboard it fits right into. And if I can stream things like Battlefield 3 perfectly, you honestly think I couldn't edit photos at a high resolution? Common sense friend..
