Not giving you flack, but yeeeeaah, as a woman, this has never ever worked. Ever. I just use my resting bitch face, and I have a natural resting bitch face. And I have a special technique that I use to ignore someone and have them think I am engaging and friendly at the same time. Jedi mind tricks. Thank you ATLanta ,

Yes, very true and a rather disturbing and digusting practice. I hate this, its like gratuitous rape scenes meant to titillate certain viewers. A lot of times it adds nothing at all to the story line or context of the movie. I have refused to see some movies on this premise alone, hence why haven’t viewed Game of

I agree with you a 100%. I just feel some sympathy for her because she is a rape victim that is victim blaming. This means she has internalized this and still blames herself for the rape. I feel a great deal of sympathy for her. She still hasn’t come to terms with her rape and she hasn’t put the blame, after all these

But doesn’t a part of you feel some sympathy for her? She is a rape victim, victim blaming. So she herself has internalized it also. That is a great deal of sadness (for her) to think that way 30+ years later. So she still thinks this rape was her fault. If you listen/read the context of the story, she is saying you

You are right I know know nothing about your levels of empathy >>> [, and she’s responsible for the harm that causes, regardless of what happened to her.]

No, I can see that. Again, I just feel a lot of sadness for her. This is her way of dealing with her trauma.

This was in direct reference to her, victim blaming herself. She experienced this trauma, she blames herself which should elicit some empathy from you. But you know, this planet and all.

If its not clear you that she is telling her younger self that message, then, yeah, nothing else to say, other than show her some sympathy. Sorry, I got nothing.

Arken, I know, but feel some sympathy for this person who experienced a horrifying trauma and is still blaming her self. This should elicit empathy. I am pretty sure most people know that rape is not anyone’s fault but the rapist but this is her story. Let her have a voice in her story.

Really? Seems like this is her reaction to her trauma. The book is about her life, right?

Exactly. This is how she felt, HER feelings about being a victim of a crime. Jesus.

He better be careful before those edges get snatched! But then again they probably already snatched ala Tamar Braxton.

But what about that lace front tho? That shit is on WHAT!

Because it goes very well with his lace front wig.

That lace front tho. That shit is on FLEEK.

Well makes sense, kinda like what kid rock did, was originally a rap artist, realized he was just way too WACK for that shit, then was like, how about I get all the red necks riled up with my confederate flag bullshit, and that weird country/rap/(rock?) ensemble and just like that, overnight success. Iggy you should

Oh WOW. Quite a picture. I laughed and laughed, then averted my eyes, then looked again and laughed some more. Thank you.

Wow, this never occurred to me, but now totally makes sense. I was always puzzled by the raging anger bender I would see white folks display about about TSA “screening”.

Proudly PIG ignorant. This will my new catch phrase. Sometimes I wonder if its her mom egging her on, like come on Bristol you can’t just BE a knocked up, unmarried, abstinence preaching dumb wit, stir the pot! stir the SHIT pot.

This should get the COTD. They need to being the COTD back. I should put this on a T-Shirt.
