True story: once I had amnesia. The doctors finally got me to understand / remember that I had amnesia, and I joked, "Well, if TV has taught me anything, it's that another bonk on the head will cure me!" I couldn't remember that I had already made that joke, and I made it over and over again. For days. It wasn't even

I'm leaning toward the Razer side of it. This quote is a little harsh but I agree with the gist:

Hm, possible. Absolutely true on the "richer you are" point; I didn't even know people paid for tutors for the SAT until I got to college. The extent of my prep was getting one of the free College Board practice tests from my guidance office and doing it.

Standardized testing is a joke. I tutored it in grad school and around 10 hours of coaching and some diligent practice and I raised my students scores on avg. 6 pts on the ACT. They didn't get any smarter, or better prepared for school, just better at taking that specific test. Same with SAT, GRE, and the MCAT all of

"is that it once again implies that women are responsible for how men behave and what men think."

OR an article giving men advice on not misconstruing normal politeness or pleasantness as romantic interest.

This is so true. I've never seen any article or advice advising men to avoid behaving in a way that might be misinterpreted as romantic interest.

It is possible to hate the game, not the players. I hate tipping. I hate that restaurants get away with paying their workers nothing because they foist that responsibility onto me. I hate seeing other customers lord their tipping rights over some exhausted server, demanding that their toes be sucked- they seem to

You believe that a tip is "something extra," but you are WRONG! In almost every state, servers aren't paid minimum wage. Tips are their livelihood.

If you don't want to "pay extra" for service, don't eat out at a restaurant. It isn't something extra, it is payment for service rendered. You're paying them for serving

1. Either gratuity should be fixed (possibly with an extra "more gratuity" field) or waiting wages should be minimum wage. Period.

I informed the gentlemen that their gratuity of 25% for the meal would not be accepted, that we have a built in 18% gratuity. This enraged the customers. I tried to calm them down by telling them the server had not worked any more or less hard for not having the potential of earning more than 18% for her efforts, and

There are very few jobs in America where you are NOT self-employed, and yet your basic salary depends upon your immediate (as opposed to your time-averaged) performance.

And has two birthday parties for a five-year-old. Who are these people, and how can I ensure that I never end up in the same social circle as them????

I'm more curious about who the fuck sends Save the Dates for a child's birthday party.

Wow. A save the date for birthdays? WTF?

While I appreciate the effort, I feel kinda "meh" about the commercial. Like I just highly doubt that any of the dudes who are douchey enough to no wear condoms don't actually stick around to take care of the kids. I mean, parents (*cough*moms*cough*) have to deal with this shit whether they want the kids or not.

super sexist ad, in the beginning you can see a stereotypical nagging wife, you have only the man's perspective, nowhere is shown that also women may not want kids. are condoms used just by men? i don't think so. also... if these fucking men are so annoyed by kids, why did they have more than one? they must be idiots.

This is simultaneously one of the grossest and funniest things I've ever read on this website.
