Exactly my thought. It sounds great and I’m all for good science education, but it also reminded me of people that require women seeking abortions to get an ultrasound.

Yeah I kind of agree with you, and in general our media/public discourse could do a lot more ignoring of idiot things. But an actual champion of women’s rights would have put it in the context of how much women’s are already under attack, currently, in so many ways, and how this is an important issue in the other…

Four convictions does not mean four separate incidents. This was kind of mentioned by someone above referring to a linked article. But in general it’s just very important to realize that someone could be convicted of four different felonies just for one act that they did. That’s how prosecutors roll.
