Who said anything about hard-core republicans? Unfair treatment of female politicians is hardly a partisan thing. I think Palin is also a victim of misogyny but it’s very different from Clinton’s.

No I don’t think so. That’s what people might tell themselves, but it’s pretty hard to separate. And the more gendered language you throw around, the more it becomes clear that a lot of what they don’t like about her is that she’s a woman.

I’m too old to be a millenial but another form of help I got from my parents is that they are stable and healthy and able to take care of themselves. A lot of kids have to support their parents from a quite early age, not just when they get elderly.

Actually all study abroad programs are mostly women. The only places you find an equivalence or signifcant number of male students are England and Australia.

I don’t know who Alison Williams is, but when I went to college in the 90s, there were two things people knew about my home state: Dick Cheney and Matthew Shepard.

The rest of the world engages in the exact same freak out and silence campaign; it’s just that they do it when some college student accuses them of racism or argues that they are participating in oppression.
