I agree. It seems like all modern RTS are dumbed down tabletop shit adaptations of original games. Also, all very similar.
I think we live in Golden Age Of Lazy Gaming & Dumbed Down games, like new Xcoms. It is not anywhere close to originals were. Cutscenes just disgust me. Oh, lets remember real golden age games, like Master of Orion, when strategy games was different from each other.

Most pro players use 4:3 screens. Eye doesn’t react very well on peripheral events.
