I would suggest learning about difference between Forward and Backward compatibility.

certainly more important that zombies.

I’m more worried about this thing, rather than zombies:

what kind of nonsense is this discussion? You trying to say me that cygwin and mingw are usable alternatives?

mingw you call“natively”? Well... Windows users are used to crap software, I guess...

You know, I have friends who prefer windows. Hell, I have people who work with me using windows. My guess about game developers around me is that it is around 50/50 split. I don’t see how not having mac version for a game engine would be beneficial for Amazon.
For example, you can’t ignore mobile. In 2015 mobile market

You can’t write iOS and Mac programs on Widows. And WMs wouldn’t help you much.

This comment has 0 concrete examples, except Visual Studio, which I don’t like. If you’re on a level when IDE is defining tool, I can’t really argue with that. I wrote you quite a list, but I think you’re just a troll, or have no idea what are you talking about. Good luck. Try to learn something may be.

lol? You suggest using windows for graphics?

Well... I don’t see you having any experience in a field with such statement. Please be more specific. Unity is mac first, for example. All major suites used for gamedev work better on macs, like photoshop & cs, 3ds max, maya etc. + Mac has native support of modern compilers like clang & gcc, while on windows you’re

Funny, since every major gaming studio uses Mac....

I don’t see it being true. I based my answer on over decade of senior job positions as game programmer/engine developer.

It looked better with nice isometric view. No such things looks just ridiculous.

LoL?

I’m not surprised to see commend section full of people who have not idea what are they talking about... Except only valid complain about not having OS X version of the engine.

lol. I’m game developer, in field for over 10 years. I will not use windows.

Just FYI, there are no games left in which humans can compete with AI. Last one was go. Probably computers of early 80s was good enough to beat shit out of humans in all puzzle-like games.
