well... They're better that Hololens, because they're real and I saw them, not a prototype which everyone call "cool and very early prototype". Also, there are a lot of great AR appliances. To be fair, MS didn't really invented anything new, just tries to package lots of existing tech into headset.

I spent 2 years in university working on holograms (I do have diploma in Physics to prove it). It is not a hologram. It is augmented reality. Holograms alter world, and there are ways of making them real. Lame real world example would be Hatsune Miku. But we're getting there, man.

Holograms are parts of real world, not a thing projected only on person's eye. If only you can see it, it is not a hologram. Just Augmented Reality device. Millions of apps do that. This is no Hologram.

Could you tell me, what exactly is "holographic" about it but name?
