Unfortunately, those that don't enjoy it are that same annoying as hell vocal (VERY VOCAL) minority that like to take the fun out of it for everyone else. It's a piss off, but I'm gonna swear myself off from the internet when this happens. Or this game gets released I mean. Too much headache from the assholes.

There are similarities in that comparison, heh, but I wouldn't obsess too much over those people who can't see past the previous failures. This game seems to have a lot going for it; so, hopefully folks will check it out. :)

Like Gearfree said, hold off for four more days. Ebay will be (directly) selling new Vitas for $150 on Black Friday. If you're picking up PS+ (and you should), you're going to want a larger memory card than what comes in the bundles, anyway.
