Oh absolutely 100% agreed. All of those guys stand to earn tens of millions in their careers, but the $5-10M guarantee via the insurance policy does mean that his current value is more than "purely theoretical".
I wouldn't say purely theoretical. Clowney has a $5M insurance policy against injury, as do a few others (upwards of $10M) including Johnny Manziel, Teddy Bridgewater and Marqise Lee, who after his injury in the ASU game looked like he might need it.
