I’ve never watched DWTS, but I absolutely would if Ramona was on. Just THINK of the wild-eyed facial expressions...

I miss the Worth It column. I picked up several recommended items (Dodai’s favorite slip is still on my Amazon wish list), and picked up more recommendations in the threads on those posts. It would be Worth It (hyuk) to bring that feature back.

This palette looks great. Thanks for the rec!

It was the first 30 minutes of what would’ve been a great movie. But, will it be a great tv show? probably not. everything will be dragged out over years/seasons/episodes.

Right?! People keep saying “why doesn’t she do more speeches and interviews”. It's called letting him destroy himself people!

I was thrilled when I read the following in the Time Magazine article about Trump’s meltdown*:

Yep. It’s immoral to work for him. People who do so require consequences.

I have no sympathy for any of these people anymore. I was willing to give some benefit of the doubt for those who joined early, who needed a job and figured it would be a quick campaign and then figured he would pivot after the convention. At this point everyone knows what he is and who he is. Anyone who comes in at

You missed the best thing this morning.

News flash: Not all of us live in the city. Not all jobs are based in the city. If your grandma has a car she can’t drive, offers you its use, and it makes your life easier, you effing take her up on it. That is not an example of a bad decision.

Why do you assume there’s public transportation to the job? Where some may consider driving a fine automobile to work a luxury, others see having easily accessible public transportation as one.

Or would you rather the company improve their safe injection techniques and charge your insurance companies?

How has the epipen changed in the past eight years? I’ve been buying them since 2008, it’s the same exact design, internally and externally. Frankly, public health insurance is a far better solution to all the robber barons in the health insurance and drug industries.

Mine does, too.

If you’re lucky enough not to have to worry about it, don’t forget that you often need two epi-pens at home, plus two more to leave at school, and for some families two more at a day care center. Even the best insurance coverages will often balk at that.

You could always buy epinephrine and needles and inject your son yourself, and teach him how to do it himself. It’s super cheap.

Price in England appears to be 49.99 pounds. The US leads the world in medical price-gouging. All the excuses about research are just that.

What he’s saying is the insurance company pays the jacked up prices with ‘magic money’ which doesn’t cost anyone anything. Ignoring the fact that the cost of insurance keeps rising and is passed on to the consumer. Also ignoring those who don’t have insurance or only have crappy insurance.

Idiot

It’s supposed to be an emergency device simple enough it can be used when the parent isn’t there, such as at school. A needle isn’t going to be an alternative.

It’s exactly price gouging like this that is one of the root causes of health insurance being so expensive. If the insurance company has to cover the cost, they are going to make all the members cover it times 100. They exist to make money for their share holders, not serve the public, even though that’s the service
