“Two Guild Wars 2 narrative designers, Jessica Price and Peter Fries, were fired after Jessica attacked a well-established community member for asking a questions, shouted sexism, and refused to back down. You’re absolutely right. One of the main reasons why Andromeda flopped hard (besides, you know, it simply being trash) is that the development team bit off waaaaay more than they could chew, with automated animation systems, procedurally generated planets, dialogue trees changing depending on Rider’s personality, etc.…
Man, if any game could use a remaster, it’s ME1. It’s essential to the Mass Effect universe, but it feels so clunky these days. Uncharted 1's PS4 remaster updated the combat to make it fit more in line with the other games’ faster pace, and I don’t see why Bioware can’t do the same with ME1.
Speaking of remasters... Bioware needs to remaster Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 as a single updated game.
Just introduced this to a couple buddies during our monthly board game night. They had fun, but one guy decided to go pirate a little too early and suffered for it in the late game.

To be fair, doesn’t the popularity of the games give more visibility to the books, and therefore more sales?
Im sure the popularity of the Witcher games has contributed to increased sales of his books, no? His books were popular in Poland before the games but lets be honest CDPR elevated the Witcher to another level and while he lost out on a better direct deal he got something much more valuable, exposure.
Playing witcher 3 got me into the book series so i guess he got about $30 off me
Except for all the people buying his books after playing the games?
Looks like since the 3rd game came out they’ve translated and released more of the series actually.
I mean you could probably argue that the success of the games lead to increased sales for the translated prints of his novels. I mean I bought them. I assume he still makes some money off of those.
