Yeah I'm pretty sure that's how she'll see it. It's the only time I've ever seen her concerned about the value of something. Pressure probably from her parents or friends or something. Actually I got an awesome deal on the ring as we're getting it through a friend of mine who is on the wholesale side :) I feel like an evil genius, and I'm pretty sure me lady will feel the same when I eventually let my secret slip (It's too good to keep). She'll be happy that we saved the money anyhow.

What would you do if you found out that the engagement ring your husband let you choose was quoted to you at twice the price he actually paid because you said you wanted to choose it yourself and he sent you to a jeweler who was a close friend of his and they worked out a deal in advance?
