I'd rather have a Ford Flex woodie. I'd love to have the money for one...

I saw one of these on the road the other day. It was depressing, because I'm nearly certain they were going to use it as a daily driver, instead of bringing it off-roading like they should.

@Middleswine: The Fiesta is the first car that we DO want here, though. A good small car from Europe made it's way here, just like the Transit Connect did. I know it's unlikely, but I'm still hoping Ford smarts up and brings the Falcon Ute here to replace the Ranger. That'd be a smart business move on their part.

@Skynix: This is so true. It is rather annoying to show him leaning over and picking stuff up/skinning something 1,000 times. I wouldn't mind seeing the skinning if Marston said "I thought they smelled bad on the outside!" Surprised they didn't put that line in.

@rebelracer6: I totally forgot how awesome those commercials were!

@danio3834: I don't know if it's been quite that long, since my 98 Neon had a 3 speed, IIRC.

@zeeboid: That law about not being able to back into a parking space is pretty dumb, yes.

@luisthebeast: I agree with you there. Here in the suburbs, we have a problem with people not using the excellent sidewalks beside every road, and people are actually walking on the side of the road instead. When someone gets hit by a car while walking in the road, I'll be more relieved than sympathetic. Maybe someone

@zeeboid: This is stupid. You don't wait for someone to get hurt or die before you punish someone. I've known people that have been severely injured by drunk drivers, and I think that anyone driving while hammered should have their license taken away. You don't screw around when you're driving a 3,000+ pound hunk of

@benmoo: You are aware that you can't get a sunburn from behind glass, right? The UV-B rays are blocked by the glass, and only UV-B rays cause burns. UV-A rays don't produce any visible burn.

I actually see a Corvair wagon every time I go to one of my buddy's houses. They leave it in their yard on the side of the yard, and I slow down a bit every time. I rather like the way it looks, but I can't say I'd ever buy one, obviously.

@zeeboid: They only do it as an additional charge when they catch you stealing something. It's more of a secondary charge.

@xxpor: I'm 21, and in the same situation. I just don't want to hear the garbage they call "music" nowadays, not to mention I'm a news junkie.

@Tyson: I had a '98 as my first car, and I never let anyone near it with any sort of food and drink. The cupholders wouldn't fit most drinks, and the crumbs are too hard to get out. I sold it this past year for $1250, with leaking refridgerant, leaking power steering fluid, and leaking oil. Hang in there, dude.

@tonyola: Very true. I sort of agree with the dumbing down of the explorer, since it became the Soccer Mom Special long ago. The Expedition will still be there for people that need a "real" SUV.

@Raven Riley: The reason Bush didn't blame his predecessor was because his predecessor did such a good job. 8 years of peace, a good economy, and a budget surplus. Bush changed all that rather quickly.

That's not half bad, actually. Surprising!
