If you're talking about the green one, I can tell you its never been off road. I know that guy, and when I asked him where he off-roaded, he seemed stunned that anyone would off road in one.

As a young gun/green pea, I'd like to say that I've told many people "you can't afford this car, let's look at something more in your budget." It's too much work convincing someone with a 480 credit score that they can get a Corvette Z06 with $1500 down. Funny story, by the way. That guy ended up in a barely used

I still think Toyota had the best automaker April Fools joke when they released the press release about buying Oldsmobile. I don't give Toyota credit for much, but that was an awesome joke.

That's why James Garner, Paul Newman, and Bruce Jenner are all higher than Hackman on the list, man.

Crack pipe. My white 2000 Firebird cost $5k, and has the same horsepower rating. As awesome as the old Trans Am's are, $22k is just waaaaay too much, especially with 66,000 miles.

YES! That's what I used to call mine. The only thing is that it lacks real cupholders, or at least my '96 did. Hard for a smuggler to get by with just two pop-out rings for your space beer.

The new Malibu's touch radio can actually flip up and has a storage space behind it. NOBODY knows about it. Perfect place for a stash.

I'm in.

No wood paneling? Meh.

The Aurora was an Oldsmobile, actually.

It might not have sold well, but it was the first(and still only) car to offer a Miller Cycle engine. They're actually very good cars - I have a 96 Millenia S with the Miller Cycle and its got some spunk, and it rather comfortable. Could use more headroom, but that's about it.

I'm going to London from DC next Saturday. Sitting in Economy Plus - hopefully I get better service than the usual continental US flight fare.

That's actually a possibility worth contacting your local police about. Maybe just do one at a time though - over-saturation is the enemy.

With the low(or no) mileage offered here? Tons. Tons and tons and tons.

"because they often graduate to HARMING CHILDREN!"

The first gen was much better after the refresh and the dumping of the unreliable CVT transmission. The electric power steering was awful, though. My dad has one, and you can barely tell where the wheels are pointing. No road feedback at all.

I thought it was an okay reference to it, actually.

I'm inclined to agree. I had a 98 Neon for a while, and it had pretty good handling. It was entertaining to drive in the summer, and it was great in the snow as well.

The same people shoot the UK version, as well as produce it, if I remember correctly. Don't know which episode you watched, but I have a feeling you were just looking for a reason to complain. Give it a chance. Watching one episode doesn't give you the full picture.

@Hand_O_Death: It was pretty good. The scenes in the real world aren't in 3d, but all the scenes on The Grid are. Some are better looking than others, but overall it's quite good.
