I think the game should penalize you for using characters as cannon fodder in some other way. Permadeath just leads to constant resets, which isn’t fun and actually limits your strategic thinking. I paid $20 for my second 16GB VITA memory card during Christmas. It’s a hard swallow considering it was only 6 years ago I spent that much money for a Memory Stick.
