What treatments don’t work, exactly? An integrated team of medical, trauma and substance use counselors, social workers, and supportive housing? I’ll let the folks at the clinic know that smartliberal1987 says we’re wasting our time.

My girlfriend’s Mazda 3 has automatic wipers, but they have a slow and a fast setting, so I’m pretty sure “slow” will be what the car will do by default (as in, this should be satisfactory to your needs), and “fast” will be a quicker version of that if you don’t think it’s doing a quick enough job of clearing away all

This assumes that it doesn’t have automatic intermittent wipers and the slow and fast are to override to continuous slow and fast speeds. This is basically how my BMW works. You turn the wipers on and it’s sensor driven intermittent, then from there you can bump them to slow and fast continuous. And as you mentioned,

Yeah fuel plus diff services, trans services, probably at least 1 water pump, spark plugs, air filters, oil & filter changes, tires, likely at least one catalytic converter, struts a couple times, a transmission rebuild is likely on the 4R.

Its all a big joke. GM literally killed people by ignoring a design flaw once it was discovered.

So, 40 months in prison for the engineer “tasked with” coming up with the hack. How much time for the executives that gave him that order?

“realized that they could not design a diesel engine that would meet the stricter U.S. emissions standards.”

The ignition switch on his MK4 failed and locked the steering wheel. Tires fault though. So he spends the same amount his car is worth on tires every 2 years.

As you already know, the tires are everything. I do better in the snow/ice with my FWD GTI with snow tires than most of the jokers in the Northeast with their AWD Subarus and all season tires. That all being said an AWD with snow tires will give you optimal traction.

Because it’s not a GTI competitor and a GTI with the LSD is almost 29k. This is a car you cross shop against a Honda Civic or Mazda3 and in that respect, it does the job well.

Yeah not sure how badly to feel for this guy. So he gets one hour of what it feels like to not be at the top of the food chain? I’d chalk it up to a good life experience!

Like I said, I’m not making excuses for the dealer, but if you want to buy a car of this caliber there is a way to do it so they take you seriously.

Absolute madness. Here’s a photo from the helicopter of Travis putting a wheel over the abyss

Maybe someone who knows more can shed some light on this for the uninitiated like me, but how on earth do teams do things like this for under $500?

Actually I absolutely do! I think you forgot what website you’re commenting on. We are this weird cult called “gearheads” and we actually like cars. Especially weird, broken ones.

I do have an amateur garage next to my house. The guy who rents it has two Gen 2 RX-7 drift cars that he works on. Nobody minds as long as he’s not revving the heavily modified, unmuffled monsters all night long. Really, nobody cares.

Now here’s a twist. I was the seller in this sketchy car transaction.

Derwin employee 1: How can we make a decade-old Italian supercar less reliable?

It’s that New Yorker in Adam. Some can deal with it, others find it annoying.
