I wish you posted this last year,a local Buick dealer had a Pontiac Soulstice, which stopped production in 2009, so it had to be old as hell.

MKIII VW Golf or Jetta 2.0 manual transmission... super cheap and simple to maintain... last one I had we put 60k+ on it and got rid of it at 237k miles. Only maintenence was a rear wheel bearing ($40) and tires.
The new ones look sharper but I’ve always felt like they leave a lot to be desired. Most notably, if the quality has ANYTHING in relation to my mother-in-laws Cobalt, that thing is a legitimate piece of rubbish. With under 60k miles it has had 4 bad wheel bearings (front passenger 2x), sway bar end links, 2 steering…
I’m aware, I guess I’m still bitter that I was unable to get the car I wanted because they are all now banned and it annoys the hell out of me. Ended up with a 2.0TFSI A4 instead of a 6spd TDI Wagon.
They were given a slap on the wrist for being a good ol’ American company vs the evil Germans. Harley manufactured the bikes in a way they would “pass” emissions standards in factory with a tune that was rubbish on the street, then when the bike arrives at the dealer, it is re-tuned to the ACTUAL tune that emits FAR…
Seriously, Bankers nearly collapse the global economy and they get fines equal to >2% of a years annual profit and they all continue to work in the industry but some cars emit more than stated (Harley has been found guilty of doing the same) and VW people are being indicted? Where the hell are our priorities.
1) Know First Name
2) Know he Drives a Ranger and works with someone with an 02 F150
3) ?????
4) “Hey Fitzsimmons, come in here for a minute”
I sold Jags, as gorgeous as they are, unless it’s a 2nd or 3rd car it’s a bad idea. Mostly due to the archaic 2003 multimedia in a $40k used car
I was gonna say the same, if you just bought it, email them, they will usually credit you within 30 days of purchase if the price drops.

Absolutely not, the driver not being a fucking asshat and video chatting when driving could have prevented the crash. Jesus, we could have tech that prevents a cell phone from working when in motion above 5mph, but it’s not reasonable to blame every phone mfg for not enabling this to occur. The Facetime thing is more…
I have replaced 3 clutches, 2 transmissions, stripped a motor down to everything except the head and short block and reinstalled. I still have never done drum brakes and have zero interest in doing so.
As I posted in the last thread
What is the payout for bets that this dude had a vape in his center console.. .
To be fair, he roadtrips the country constantly and loads it up with merchandise and camera gear... unlike most subaru/vw kids he actually uses it.
One of the most surprising I remember from years ago was the mid 90's Mitsubishi Galant, per google searching 0.29
Brand new from scratch Lincoln Continental vs 2009+ Jaguar XJ... other than a slight taper of the headlights on the Jag and the larger bulge in the hood I can’t help but see them as identical.
