Demographically, 2016 and 2020 are the last years they have any chance at a presidential election. “Millennials” aren’t aging rightward like “Boomers” and “X-ers”, we’re aging leftward like the survivors of the great depression and WWI. For Trump to win in 2020 it will require a similarly tight electoral college

I think Mitch has been in Politics so long he doesn’t know what is a political game and what is not anymore.

Eh, that is the problem.

That’s very optimistic...but you may be underestimating the amount of willful ignorance and outright stupidity throughout much of this country. I have no doubt that the Republican brand will be too tarnished to hold power for at least a generation (if ever again) in most of the west coast, and from the mid-Atlantic

Have you ever met any republicans? The “aggro dickhead” brand is never going to become unpopular. It’s built almost exclusively around doing whatever the fuck you want, just because you can.

Oh they know once the lose power they are done.

I dunno whats worse.....that I get the joke or actually remember it was for Pace Picante Salsa.

The farmers all bought seeds from a guy who bought spuds from a guy who used to have a PepsiCo contract.

No, no - there were lights.

That was my first impression as well. Low non-union pay coupled with part time work hours.

“I was approached by a political figure to come to DC to discuss political situations from the standpoint of a gay Republican”

So much for a well regulated militia eh?

They planted chips!

Most potatoes are, I believe, grown from other potatoes. So yeah, it’s definitely underground potato-sharing networks.

I worked for a guy for years who had previously been a VP at a big pest control company, then became the local health board chairman. It was really hard to go to lunch with him.

I worked in a bakery for a few months in 1989. I still won’t eat anything glazed.

yup, besides the potentially harmful and disgusting shortcuts a busy restaurant WILL take, knowing that you’re paying $15 for $2 worth of ingredients makes it real hard to justify going out for food.

My next door neighbor was a alcohol&beverage inspector. She still refuses to drink draft beer.

You are spot on. I work in HVAC and regularly hear from technicians “Ya know that new place over off 3rd street?” or “remember that one [fill in the blank style of restaurant] downtown? DONT FUCKING GO THERE”.

You can’t HANDLE the Dril!
