Actually, yes, anyone can have amber beacons. It’s red and blue that are restricted. If you’re blocking a lane of traffic, you’re going to need a reason for it, regardless of you’re Joe Dickbag or not. As long as these graphics don’t say “Police” or something similar, there’s nothing illegal about them.

Yeah, the performance package has a different gearing for the manual trans. It’s much snappier. 

Was the Mustang you drove a performance package? If not, that would explain the sluggishness. The gearing on the standard car is more for economy, but the PP's 3.55s make it much snappier. I had a performance package EB with a friend that had a standard one, both manuals. You can really feel the difference.

M62s have a lot of problems with timing chain guides and various gaskets in the top end leaking oil. Also the valve stem guides leak later in life, leading to higher oil consumption. Just because you haven’t had any problems with your car, does not mean that the motor is not problematic.

Unlike the standard Mustang jokes, the 1.5psi is actually still funny. I think it’s because someone actually said it and it’s just so absurd that it retains that feeling of hilarity.

I didn’t even read the post, just came down and voted CP. That said, I think this is the most painful CP I’ve ever clicked, because god damn do I want that car.

Not “built in” so to speak, as they have to be replaceable, but it’s not as easy as popping the hood, undoing a couple bolts and pulling the 12v battery out of a normal car.

You realize taking the batteries out of a hybrid isn’t exactly easy, right? Not to mention the fact that cars that are in showrooms have fuel in them anyways.

I think so. This is more just moisture in the air causing the patina.
