Except that it is still that product. Derp.

A lot of smaller airports have a landing fee for aircraft over 10k lb. MiG-21 has a max gross of just over 18,000.

Honestly, ships are pretty fuckin awesome, too. But, being that I’m a pilot, one would think that they would assign me to a plane.

Neat pic.

I had read something about them being officers, but I wasn’t sure what exactly that entailed. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, pretty much, haha.

Yeah, I can see that. Probably looking more for ex-military, or long time airline captains.

Man, the want is strong. Maybe someday.

Probably one in Meteorology or similar, so you can know what you’re looking at when you look at your weather radar. Man, would it be fun though.

These aren’t NASA, they’re NOAA. Different agencies. Much different. NOAA is Department of Commerce.

Man, this would be an awesome job. How do these guys usually get this gig? Ex-Navy, I presume?

Wrong turn? Or the most right turn?

Well, it’s not so much an issue as it is a tendency. Since the wing is lower, it’s in ground effect longer, so there’s less drag for a greater period of time. The reason a 172 might actually float longer is because it’s got better flaps on a better wing.

This drawing made me so happy. I’m going to send it to my instructor, he should laugh.

I mean, there are probably better ways to think of it, we could easily pick it apart and make a model by model list of equivalences. But, ain’t nobody got time for that.

That makes sense. I was thinking more of relative capability and size rather than status.

I’m not sure. I think the 182 would be closer to the Taurus. Especially a newer one. They’re pretty fast anymore, and incredibly comfortable.

Maybe. That’s still a different class of car though.

I’m not sure I agree with his take on this. If anything the Cherokee is more like the Honda Civic. It fills the same role as the Corolla, but is slightly more expensive. Performance is similar, usability is similar. The biggest difference is that the Piper is more complex, with an electric fuel pump, oleo struts on

Or nah.
