I think my only issue with the aesthetics of the SLS is possibly the rear end. It just looks a little fiddly to me. But other than that, having spent some time around one, I feel it is quite lovely from all other angles.
Modern Corvettes aren't really paying homage to the original, and it would be very hard to do so, pay homage, without somewhat recreating the profile of the vehicle.
