@Bobby Stanley: Can I have one?
@Bobby Stanley: Can I have one?
I remember the previous nano had audio crossfading (it would fade into new tracks). Can the new nano do that? Or is that another feature that was removed???
@siwex80: I thought about that too (it being on every carrier but Verizon). That would be a very strong tactic for Apple. We'll see what happens.
@siwex80: We'll see. Verizon passed on the iPhone once and they'll certainly do it again. What will Apple do at that point? It will be even more incentive to buy a Droid. I think Apple might not have a choice...
Well, it looks like I wont be buying this phone. I'll stick with my trusty BlackBerry/iPod Touch combo a little longer.
That's funny, considering iPhone users get porked the most. [gizmodo.com]
Anyone know the megapixel count on the Touch's back camera? 720p doesn't necessarily imply it's a 5MP sensor...
@Otakju: You can buy a 64gb iPod touch.
@dgstan: Agreed. My 80gb classic died in about a year, and it basically just lived in my car.
Maybe I am "off", but do people really want this thing? Why didn't Apple just make an iPod Touch Mini with a 2.5" screen to replace the Nano??? I mean, if they can scale up iOS 4 for the iPad, then I'm sure they can scale it down. I bet it would have been nearly the same size as the original Nano.
Why are these so expensive? Is Sony out of their minds?
Its like David and Goliath. Out of all the things that could have taken that blender out, a measly set of keys was all that it took.
@ewlang: What are you talking about? Clearly the iPod touch is something you shouldn't buy, since you have an iPhone.
@HiroPro42: Im sure that's called the iPod touch. They are actually pretty great at being an iPod...but you're right, flash prices need to come down significantly. I think the stall on these prices is what has kept the "classic" iPod alive for this long.
@HiroPro42: Its all speculation. ;-)
@HiroPro42: right, that's the one that's getting 86ed tomorrow. I think the nano is being morphed into the new shuffle. iPod Touch isn't part of this argument.
Wow, vanilla Android...I forgot you even existed!
I want iOS 4 on my iPad already.
@Digo: The iPod has a real spinning hard drive inside. It's more likely to die when dropped than an iPod touch or iPhone. Kinda archaic.
Brilliant, Kyle. Everyone yaps and moans about the unipurpose Kindle, but no one ever mentions the iPod.
