That is sad. One day I'll have to explain to my kids what it was like to get a finished, functioning game right out of the box.

How do you not allow yourself to feel guilty any time besides your allotted guilt time? Guilt seems to be a thing that just happens to me, identifying triggers is hard enough, but telling my body to stop seems like it's out of my control. Any suggestions would be great, because I like this strategy a lot.

I very much regret buying SimCity because, like you, I don't want to pay into their scheme anymore. Maybe I'm being too idealistic or whatever, but I'm tired of the transparent motivated-by-profit mentality of recent Sims franchises. Give me a robust, well thought out playing experience for the sake of producing a

Most of the expansions yeah, but almost none of the stuff packs or whatever. What can I say, it's a great game when the features are fully fleshed out.

When I first played SimCity it felt like an unfinished game, what with the lack of things like terraforming, overpasses, and actual diversity in how cities grow. Then it struck me, they're just going to sell me these things over the course of the next few years in the form of dlc's and expansion packs. I bought most

Ah, it does come off as sarcastic, should have read it over a few times.

That's what makes this so baffling to me, where's the market for this among gamers?

Yeah, buying it because it is small and quiet is buying it for the wrong reasons.

A thousand dollars? Why and how.

I like this.

I think it was David Mitchell who said, politics isn't exactly short staffed. Breathe, relax, they're working on that as well.

I don't think it's any sort of stretch to say a qualified referee would not have signaled touchdown. If we're being super literal, no, I can't guarantee that.

You're missing the point, which is that had the referees not been locked out, that call would not have been made. It was so egregiously bad, you can't say it was just a bad call among other bad calls; it was an especially bad call that would have never happened had the commissioner not been such a penis.

But I want more dammit! Nurture my desires for internet confrontation or I'll get even more fussy, and nothing is worse than a fussy panda.

I'll be honest, I think the fact that you aren't willing to rebut Shingen's points is rather telling, and suggests that you don't have a very strong argument at all. Me personally, I welcome the chance to bounce my ideas off of others, even if it is in the comments of a sports blog. By all means, dismiss people like

It appears to me that once Shingen laid his cards out, you kinda dismissed them instead of pointing out where he was wrong. You're perfectly allowed to have your opinions, I was just wondering how you would substantiate them in this case. I think there's a lot to be said for the fact that many NFL players were not

No dude, rebut what he is saying if you feel that way. I think Shingen makes good points. Who cares how long it is, if he's wrong, please show me exactly how, because I think he makes better points than you.

Bingo. I was looking at the most popular books downloaded on Amazon the other day and holy shit was there some garbage in there.

Really? Did you just type that out loud?

The next gen consoles really won't allow used games to work? That's what gaming has come to? I understand backwards compatibility is a hardware issue, but jeez, couple that with the used games thing and Sony and Microsoft come out just looking more greedy and cynical.
