Conventional, because I’m not an idiot.

Says the one who called synthetic pesticides as worse than organic ones. Thats pure fear mongering and piles of cow manure.

I couldn’t come away from the book with anything but the feeling that Cline is the E.L James of Science Fiction. Some of the dialogue (particularly between Parzival and Art3mis both in real and virtual life) is worse than the dialogue between Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele - and that really is saying something.

Is this Donald Trump?

allow me...

Those who want to stand, stand on the right so that people can pass on their left. There can be over a 100 people on an escalator, you have no right to demand they all adapt to you.

If you can’t handle an escalator, maybe take the elevator.

It’s pretty common escalator/moving walkway courtesy to “stand right, walk left.” There are even signs in a lot of public transit hubs. But people ignore them and stand left. Those people are assholes!

Wouldn’t you have more stability standing on the side and holding the rail than you would in the middle of it? Stand on the right, walk on the left. It’s easy! We’re a sort of civilized society, we can handle this!

I’m not sure exactly what you think was wrong with the whole case, or what exactly you are defending, but there wasn’t anything particularly wrong happening in this case.

If they choose to love a genocidal warmonger who deserves to be depicted as a giant dick, too fucking bad for them when people regard him appropriately.

What they’re asking for here is the equivalent of asking Koreans to “respect” Japanese leaders that took their wives and daughters as “comfort women” or asking Czech

At no point in any Roman history classes that I took were they portrayed as anything remotely resembling a ‘beacon of light in history’. If that’s how they were portrayed to you then that’s a failure of the educators you were exposed to. I’ll concede that most people would likely view the Roman Empire in a favorable

This has nothing to do with the law or censorship and everything to do with capitalism. The books aren’t being pulled because of some law or government censorship, they’re being pulled because the publisher doesn’t want the bad press and have their sales hurt. This here is not, in any way, shape, or form, a free

Some would argue that its a good thing that we Americans don’t deify our history and our criticism matches our praises. We look at the past with a multi-faceted lens instead of going “those people were the best people who ever existed and you can’t make fun of them or I’ll have your head!!”

And don’t be afraid to make Superman a square- that’s his charm- it’s what makes him human.

DC: Quit making your characters assholes and they’ll be more cinematic.

Fuck yeah. I absolutely wear leggings while working out because they are so comfortable. But if I can see what your buttcrack/labia are doing while you’re wearing them, they can no longer be considered pants! They are missing one third of the requirements for pants! They are footless tights at best.

I keep seeing arguments by racists in recent months that various movies had “failed” because of diverse casts (and that therefore movie-makers and authors and game-makers should be exclusively featuring and catering to white men). Black Panther obviously blew that argument out of the water*, so they’re having

“Love battery” introduced me to her. So catchy. Also the Unnies :)

Why omit the fairy and the furry? It’s obvious the designers don’t really have a theme for their characters.
