When asked if he was worried when he overshot the green, Stefani replied "I had No Doubt that the ball would roll back."

This quest for a ring clearly hasn't taken the same toll on him as it did on his brother, Faromir.

How many people do you think are employed at Deadspin? Just curious.

The fact that that isn't the actual confederate flag is exactly the point I was making. I find the idea that people try to claim it's about "history, not hate" utterly absurd, and the fact that they don't even know which flag it is demonstrates their total ignorance of that history. I understand that it's taken on

Despite everything you've heard, that isn't the Confederate flag. It's the Battle Flag of the Army of Tennessee (the Virginia battle flag is the same, but square). The actual confederate flag looked like this:

And to think of the massive fixes to the stadium that had to be done just recently due to that "Bane" asshole

Yup. It celebrates the long standing social acceptance to demean the heritage of someone darker than us!

OK, time for me to be a dick: this kind of sucks.

There is a shortage of adult lungs. That's why adults are in line for transplants too. The shortage is less severe, but adults die waiting for transplants too. I feel sorry for this girl and her parents, but I also feel sorry for the adult (or, possibly, 14 year old child) that didn't get lungs because she did. I

I really don't like how our society values children above everyone else. A transplant isn't a cure for CF, she's just going to live a bit longer now. Someone else might've been able to live a full life with those lungs. And she's never going to contribute much to society, as cruel as that sounds. She'll be lucky

It should be noted the Blackhawks scored more in this game than the Pens did in their entire series against Boston.

This happened across the street from my job at about 1 pm. The EMS workers tried really hard to save that cabbie's life, and the crown was very cooperative with instructions (from what I was able to tell). It's a shame that he didn't make it. The police had taped off the area not too long after all of the emergency

Sorry, this was all about the final question that Schwab ever answered, and I completely left it out:

I will never understand the, "Why is person from culture X singing the song of my people," reaction.

No one here needs the history lesson, so I won't give it, but white folks (and as I've said before, I'm a Caucasian male myself) didn't hit the landmass that would become the US first, they're -not- the only people

Cherry? CHERRY!??1! Let me get you a spoon so you can eat my ass. Apparently you like things that taste like asses.

Also penned the train wreck pro-GMO post a few days ago. We're into extreme WTF territory at this point here. Her stuff is disastrously written and completely unresearched. Yeah: I'd rather see what your remedial students could do. Certainly couldn't be any worse...

That would make my year. Please, God, let him fail again.

The other positive is an upcoming Gatlin drug test.

I think he's clean. It's not like he's done anything unusual for his talent. He was the greatest junior sprinter ever, and now he's the greatest open sprinter ever. Shit, he ran 19.7 as a 17-year old. So unless you think he was taking HGH as a 15-year old, there's no reason to think he's done anything suspicious.
