I just bought a 2024 VW Jetta. A large factor in buying a low mileage ‘24 vs. a new ‘25 were the physical climate control buttons and knobs on the ‘24, and fact that the infotainment screen is cleanly integrated into the dash rather than stuck on like an iPad resting on your dash. I hate the haptic buttons on the…
This is a 2008 model, which means the IMS isn’t really serviceable. You’re basically rebuilding the engine to get to it. On the plus side, the 2006 - 2008 models have a stronger IMS bearing that isn’t as prone to failure as the 2000 - 2005 cars.
Step 1: buy a cheap Mirai
Does it surprise me that conservatives are trying to convince the rubes that the high used car prices that materialized after the Covid 19 pandemic actually originated with Barack Obama? No. Not at all. After all these are the same people who tried to convince us that the 2008 housing crisis that Wall Street brought…
Completely unrealistic test. Have you ever seen a loaf of bread cruising around without a ricer wing, fake ground-effect side-skirts, vortex generators, and a front splitter? Let’s put those on and run the test again.
My wife drives a Lexus ES300h and I’m constantly amazed by the fuel mileage that luxury barge gets. Meanwhile I just traded my old Acura TSX for a VW Jetta GLI and am very much enjoying the +-5 mpg improvement in fuel economy and the fact that I can use regular gas now.
This sounds like the kind of thing you buy for your office because it sounds cool as Hell then immediately regret the moment you sit in it realizing how uncomfortable it actually is for daily use.
Due to my age in my mind a Lamborghini Countach is still an $80,000 car. So whenever I look at the prices of real world vehicles, I’m simply flabbergasted. There are models of Toyota SUV that start higher than that... I just “built” a $93,000 Sequoia on their online configurator. What kind of world are we living in?
...my hope is he’ll soon join the legion of suckers who have paid tribute to Trump then been cast aside like used Kleenex when they were no longer of immediate use to him.
Yesterday’s “Heil Hitler” didn’t help much either, I’m sure.
Check out the latest episode of “Car Wizard” on YouTube. Hoovie’s Ferrari 599 needs four solenoids replaced. On a Chevy these are $60.00 parts. On the 599 they’re $1000.00 a unit.
So that’s how they’re going to justify asking $50,000 for a truck?
I mean, they’re basically a Corvette with back seats... what’s not to love?
I you’re interested in this I assume you need back seats. But yeah, I somehow forgot about the Mustang and Camaro. Plus you can get those that aren’t 20 years old.
The Camaro and Mustang also exist and cost around that for a decent used one.
Yeah. I read recently that the Mach-E was selling better than the traditional Mustang, but I believe that was due to super aggressive markdowns.
I definitely prefer the mouth on the BRZ to the 86.
If you want a RWD 6 speed manual, there really aren’t many better options for the same money.
I would. The end.
