Yeah. Honda has the Civic Si. Kia has the Forte GT. Hyundai has the N-Line (which sadly no longer seems to offer a manual). VW has the Jetta GLI and the GTI. All are 200-ish Hp affordable runabouts. Toyota doesn’t seem to be playing that field. I guess if you want a fun, 200 Hp Toyota you get the 86 and sacrifice

Don’t even think about trying to go for the manual to save a few bucks, as that price has risen as well.

Deep Blue Aerospace statement says they succeeded with 10 of 11 objectives in their statement.”

Trump’s plan seems to be: crush all of Latin America’s economies and build a big fucking wall to keep the messicuns out.

Yeah. I mean by shutting down Mexico’s factories, Trump is basically begging the country to court Chinese investment as a substitute. Won’t be long before you can’t buy an American car south of the Rio Grande because the Chinese have swallowed up the entire market, and were invited to do so by Latin American economies

USMCA:

“I’ll take NAFTA, tweak it a little here and there... change its name to something that looks like the acronym for the Marine Corps and say it’s an all-new trade deal negotiated by me that fixes everything bad about NAFTA.”

-Donald Trump

Not “hold my beer?”

I’ll go with that.

“I can come up with 50 reasons why we have to call it off and we fail as a company. I’m not dying. No one is dying under my watch - period.”

I’m not going to try and justify this purchase because I don’t know much about Jeeps and don’t care much for SUVs in any case, but a new Grand Cherokee Overland sells for twice that.

You may drive a 4Runner... but you wish you were in a Silverado. Search your heart... you know it to be true.

Pretty sure everyone who listens to AM radio in their car is driving around in a 2003 or earlier F-150 or Silverado and has no plans to buy anything newer. You can probably count the number of people who buy a new car in 2024 and listen to AM radio while driving it on one finger.

Lemme guess, sold it for $1 to an LLC whose address is a P.O. box in the Cayman Islands.

Looks at the first picture: “How bad could it really be?”

I will maintain, to my dying day that the Second-gen Lexus SC is the car that a dentist buys (used) for his mistress.

The purity and innocence of the original MR2's eager demeanor was diluted in the second-gen car. It did, however, make it harder to snap oversteer to your demise, but it also lost some of the fun.

The included car phone is a nice touch. Not $28,500 nice. Maybe $2,850 nice.

Exactly. Trump and the GOP are basically a guy warning that the embrace of automobile technology poses a threat to out horse and buggy industry, so we must do everything in our power to prevent our horse and buggy manufacturers from building cars.

This is basically a guy warning that if we start driving cars we’re going to lose our horse and buggy industry.

On the one hand I tend to agree with you, and wonder who in the world would take a risk like that on an unproven start-up. But then, if there weren’t people willing to buy from the Fisker, Lucid and Rivians of this world, startups would all just die on the vine and we’d be stuck with cars made by established players
